What are your main activities in the project?

My main activities are conducting research to develop digital measurement informed risk prediction models for Parkinson's disease and developing novel digital biomarkers for bradykinesia and rigidity that are symptoms of Parkinson’s disease. I’m also the administrator of the clinical data management system and I’m involved in the preparation of the electronic case report forms that are used in the AI-PROGNOSIS studies.

What is your motivation?

I believe that digital measurements combined with AI have the potential to transform the landscape of clinical diagnosis and care of chronic conditions. Health care providers and patients will be able to base their decisions on a broader spectrum of information thus having a more comprehensive decision process while optimizing the quality of healthcare.
